Hello, hello!
At Alight, we want to make sure everybody has a safe, welcoming place to call home. A place that not only provides shelter, but that allows people to thrive, build community and connect with those around them. Together with the Afghan community, we would like to test out a community guide model to allow neighbors and cities to better welcome new community members and for newly arrived individuals and families to feel supported and lifted up when they arrive. We’d love to hear your thoughts! If you can, please complete the short survey below. If you’d like to learn more or share ideas, please email Action@WeAreAlight.org.
Thank you!
ABOUT ALIGHT: We work to create meaningful lives for and with the displaced. And, we believe there is simple human justice in the chance to build a life. Yes, this life means meeting basic needs, and we do that work every day: caring for 1.5 million patients in our health centers each year; supplying 20 million liters of clean water each day; and providing protection and support to vulnerable women and children. But that is not a life. A life is filled with joy, dignity, connection and purpose. And that is what we aim to build. To learn more about Alight, visit: www.WeAreAlight.org
